Alltel plans and cell phones?

Ok right now i have an alltel BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) with the blackberry smartphone plan. My blackberry is messing up and i would like to buy a new phone but smartphones cost a lot so i would buy a normal phone. Would i still be able to keep my smartphone plan, since it gives everyone on the account unlimited texting, even though i wouldnt have a smartphone on it?
