Alltel's Pay per day plan Smart phones?

i have alltels pay per day phone plan and i was wondering if i would be able to use one of there smart phones, like the Lg Tritan or the black berry, with it. on the web site when i try to buy it, it says you cant buy this phone with this plan... but is that JUST online or would i be able to go buy one on ebay and go to the store and get them to switch my cell phone for me?? jeez i wish they just used sim cards... its so much easier lol
