Default Alltel Phone Service?
I want to buy the alltel glimmer off ebay, but alltel's website says its not available in my area. can i still activate it?

I don't think so. Verizon (NYSE: VZ) wireless bought out alltel and some of the stores have been changed to verizon and they told me there switching all phones over in july. It wouldn't be a good idea even if you could because you'll in a week or so have to go to verizon store and go get a verizon phone.
