 I got stuck with alltel, how do I get out?
I signed a contract with alltel almost exactly a year ago. At the time I signed it I made sure I would be able to switch my phone # to where I was moving in a year. (South Carolina wich is where I am now) But with the merger I got stuck with alltel and now that I need to switch my phone # they cant give me a local phone # to where I am at now. I would consider letting it fly, but I am starting my own business right now and there is no way I can go without a local #. They are saying I have no grounds to cancel without paying the cancelation fees! I have asked to talk with a manager, they said I would hear back in 24 hours, twice, I have never heard back. Any advice from anyone?
