Alltel to Verizon plan switch over to that?!PLEASE HELP?

I know that Altell was bought out by Verizon (NYSE: VZ) but I haven't done anything yet to change my plan/phone. The Storm2 is coming out soon and I want to switch over to it. What do I do? I mean, I havea data plan already on Altell.
Would I get it for Contract price?
