Default Alltel Problem ???
So my friend just gave me this cell phone and the carrier is alltel and I have a alltel phone. I go to the store to get them switched and they said they cant ? nothing is wrong with the phones ? so what is the problem ???

Why did they do this ?
Did they think I stole it

Do I have to bring my friend to the store with me when I get it switched ??

HELP ?!!!?
