Default will a sprint phone get service at my house, if alltel and tmobile get

fair service there? i had tmobile, and most of the time it got like 1 bar at my house. so i changed to nextel, and with it i get like 2 bars. but nextel has sucky messaging service, so i thought about changing over to Sprint (NYSE: S) so i wouldnt have any cancelation fees, my friend also has alltel, and he gets like 2 bars at my house.would sprint get service anywhere alltel or tmobile would with roaming?

Go with Sprint (NYSE: S) as it is worldwide and it isn't too many places sprint won't get a signal. Where I live sprint and Verizon (NYSE: VZ) roam on alltel.

Yes its going to depend on how close a tower for Sprint (NYSE: S) is to your home. Carriers each have their own towers so just because you get service at all with one provider doesn't mean you will get coverage at all with another carrier. I would suggest you use the phone companies trial period to test it out for yourself, just make sure to return the phone in the trial period if it doesn't work so you are not stuck in a contract with no better service. To be honest it sounds like you might be in a remote area based on 3 companies with only fair service at your home, I really wouldn't expect Sprint to be any different.
