alltel cell problem?

i got a LG AX275 cell phone from alltel. It's a prepaid one....and i didnt get insurance cause i didnt think i'd have this many problems..
i can be in the middle of text and it will turn off on it's own the same with a call. it will freeze so i can't send texts or turn off so i have to take out the battery and wait a few seconds and start all over. it's aggravating.

And then after talking on the phone a hour it ends the call even if u press a button and that's making me mad cause then i have to call the person back..

Well the txt i asked them about and they act like im making it up because i cant prove it to them cause it only does it once in awhile..

Then the calling they said it was a software in the phone so it ends a call after a hour so incase you forget but i think that's stupid cause if u look at the information it says talk time 180mins so why do they do this? and does anyone know if they can change it?

I took it in and they said they did something to it but same problem
customer service said take it in to get a flash update but they said i had the latest flash update. And i was really wondering is there anyway they will give me a new phone or a diff cheaper one like trade in/swap since im having problems but didnt have insurance
