Default Can I use an unlocked non-alltel phone on my alltel plan?
I currently have an Alltel snap that I would like to replace, because I want a more text-friendly phone. I have selected the Kyocera (NYSE: KYO) switchback/strobe. I want to purchase it on Ebay, but I have a problem. There are fewer Alltel versions of this phone than Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) or some other carrier, so it is sgnificantly more expensive to buy a designated Alltel version. Can any phone, as long as it's unlocked, be transferred to my Alltel plan? I thought so, but that I read this on the Alltel site:
