Default Can I activate an alltel phone that is on a certain contract with a different
contract or plan? I dropped my alltel phone in some water and it doesn't work anymore but i don't want to buy a new phone for around 200 dollars. On ebay there are many alltel phones cheaper than the about 7 at my local alltel store. Since the alltel network doesn't work on cards can i activate a phone with my plan if it was being used with a contract that's still in use?

Not unless the other contract is expired and/or canceled. Or the user of the other phone has another phone that they are using and the old phone has a clear ESN number.
