Default can a moto v3 razor on alltel plan be changed from a plan to prepaid?

i got this phone from my work they were going to throw it away because the screen wouldnt work so i took it home and fixed the screen works fine but the phone is on an expired plan and i wanted to know if i can take it in and change it to pre paid is it possible?
