Default Im getting an Android phone but i know practically nothing about them, so...

...what can anyone tell me? would like to know a lot about the best apps, right now i use iphone have facebook, tweetie, flixster, skype, ebay etc plus my fav game is bejewelled. I have a few other apps but they are the main ones i would miss if i couldnt have them, i know skype cant be used unless on wi fi.

They have all of those apps, those are probably the most popular apps that many phones are making sure they have it on there to appeal to the customers. Skype is one i'm not sure on. They could have that app, but they may not.

Well I have an android phone(htc dream) and an iPod touch so I know the comparisons between the app stores!

I can honestly say that pretty much all the apps available from Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) can be found on the android Market...they're usually a bit cheaper too!

I can definately recommend android phones, especially ones made by htc, for a newer brand they are top quality!

Remember as well that on android you can also download widgets as well as apps(many apps also have their own widgets...for example the facebook app has an onscreen widgit that shows the most recent post on your feed and has a quick box that you can update your status without even opening the app...there's a simelar one for Twitter too!)
