Android is a Mobile device OS (Operating System) that is put on various phones..
Android is made by Googe, with that said, its good (think Gmail, Google (NSDQ: GOOG) Search, Docs, etc)
Its open source (you can do what you want with your phone)
Has an app store
Mutlitasks (can run more than one app at once)
Great UI
Amazing usability (A Mixture of Widowns Mobile and iPhone = Being able to get great use out of your phone while making it simple )
