How can I download free apps for my iphone?

Ok, I'm hooked up to wi-fi, how can I and where can I download free apps for my iphone? (Its a 8MB, 3G version)

Plus this wont run into my data package plan if I'm hooked up to wi-fi correct?

If you're using wifi, it doesn't affect your data plan.

To download apps, you first have to set up an account on iTunes. Once that's done, just tap the App Store icon on your phone and download away. You can also download apps to your iTunes account and then sync your phone with iTunes.

Look in the app store on iTunes and many apps are free. Once you find the apps you want to download, it's very easy to do so. And no, using a wi-ri connection will not impact the data you use on your data plan at all.
