does it cost to use safari? I was thinking about getting it but im not sure.

well safari is included in unlimited data. However I don't think that is how much the plan is. I have heard that the iphone plan will be $30 on top of your minutes.

unlimited data is email and web.safari is a web browser so there is no charge

It is included in the $30 data plan that is required with the iPhone 3G.
