Default Does the iPhone 3G sync directly with Mac OSX Address Book?

I am switching from Verizon (NYSE: VZ) to at&t and i sent my contacts from my verizon phone via bluetooth to my macbook pro. All my phone contacts are in Address book now. Will i be able to directly sync those contacts in Address Book to my iPhone 3G?
