Default My parents won't let me get an iphone 3g.?
Right now i have a Verizon (NYSE: VZ) contract and i don't really don't like my phone so i want to buy an iphone 3g. Even do im going to pay the early termination fee and im going to use my own money to buy the iphone and the contract they still won't le me but it. What should i do to convince them to let me buy it?

It wouldn't do you any good, sorry. The iPhone can't talk to Verizon's network. Verizon (NYSE: VZ) is a CDMA carrier; the iPhone is a GSM phone. Might as well be oil and water - the two aren't compatible. Be glad they didn't let you spend your hard-earned money, because you'd be left with a very expensive paperweight.
