Can I buy an outright iPhone 3G at JB Hi-Fi?

How much would it cost, if I can buy it outright? Do I need to get it unlock at a Telstra store for $150? If I can't buy it like that, is there any other way to buy an outright iPhone 3G (16GB white) the cheapest and fastest way? What about Optus prepaid (only $899 + unlocking fee)? Which one is cheaper?
