iPhone 3G unlocking--Will this work? SIM In GoPhone?

Im going to buy an iphone 3g from att and activate it. Then I'm gonna put the SIM on the iphone into a crappy phone and tell att i broke my iphone. Then ask them if they can disable 3g and add WIX blocking. Then im going to unlock my phone, then put the SIM back in it, then i can use the iphone without 3g and when billing comes i pop the SIM back into the crappy phone. My uncle does something like this and im wondering how i can do it too.
P.S T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) is not in my Area yet

Just because you broke the phone doesnt mean that your plan with att can be cancelled without charge to you.
If you dont want data, then after 3 months, you can call att and have them remove it, and you wont be charged an ETF.
Next, if youre on att, and you have an att sim for your go phone, then you dont need to unlock it. You simply stick the go phone sim in and thats all there is too it.
