China Mobile N95 Problem

Hi All!

I have been gifted Nokia N95 Cell Phone, but I am unable to make or receive any calls from that phone using my GSM card, which is working on my another cell phone, I think call barring is active, all calls are deactivated (I don't Know but a guess), and also I don't know the password to activate the same, can some body help me to overcome this problem.

It may be some other problem, when I query status in "Call Set Up" --> "Call Barring" --> "Outgoing Calls" / "Incomming Calls" --> "All Calls" --> "Query Status", a Message is comming "Barring All Outgoing / Incoming Calls Deactivated".

FYI
I have also tried with the another sim card, but the same problem. Actually that mobile has been sent by my BRO who is in North Africa (Ligos), I don't know what may be the reason for the same, I also asked from him but he also have no Idea about it, and a booklet inside the box is in chinese Language hence I am unable to get any Idea from user manual booklet also.


If any one has an Idea please help me out...

hy dude , i think i got the same problem as urs , my bro gave me the n95 china clone wit the laser pointer in it, and mi problem is everitime i insert the SIM in , it still sayin No Service , im so mad, can you use your phone with T-mobile in US ? can you find ani Englsih information or company , man my info booklet is chinese too ,, dam

Overall, China Mobile is a good network. Especially signal coverage, but sometime abused charging and bad service mood.
