Sidekick phone imported to the UK?

Where can i get a sidekick phone? They dont sell them as far as i know in the UK,
If i bought one online (ebay) do you just put your SIM card in it, and it works? or does it require a completely different network and sim???

I really need help, asap, thanks x
also, which is the best sidekick to order? i want a flash one, which i will coustomise with jewels, what is the make and model???
