Default Questions about 'SIDEKICK LX' phone?

I like in the UK, and they dont sell them here as far as i know.

Does the phone work with ANY sim card?
Do you have to have a T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) sim?
Will my contract stay the same, if i put my current sim in the sidekick?
Can you buy ' shells' for the sidekick lx, if so where from, in the UK, or online?
What makes the LX different to the rest of the other sidekicks?

Help will be much appriciated, and if you answer all my questions, 10 pts thankyouu x
Thats the thing, i dont have a t-mobile sim.. i have a '3' sim, will it still work?

Sim cards are all the same, you just need the correct size card and it has to be unlocked by the correct carrier. So for example, if you have T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) you need a T-mobile sims card. The card does not effect contract, but you might need to adjust your plan. Usually you don't have to renew your plan for a replacement phone and or sims card unless its an upgrade. Be aware though that the side kick is one of the phones that does not store anything on the card its stored on a (cloud) or the internet. If the server crashes like it did a few days ago, you can lose a lot of information. As for the shells you can buy them almost anywhere and they are very easy to change.
