would i be able to use a unlocked sidekick from ebay with the phone company GCI?

i am looking on ebay for a new phone and they have unlocked sidekicks so i was wondering if i would be able use a unlocked sidekick with the phone company GCI..... i live in Alaska so i have GCI............. so if anyone knew that would be great lol.... thanks!!!
