Sidekick LX cell phone help! (read for more information)?

Ok. I've been planning on getting t-mobile's sidekick lx for a month now. I heard about the new Tony Hawk special edition being able to record videos. I also heard that people can update their lx's to record.

My question here is that: I'll be getting my lx AFTER recording videos is possible, and i wanted to know if T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) will be updating the lx's in their store so that they record videos. I'm going to get a prepaid, but i don't know if that makes a huge difference. So would you mind telling me if you think/know if their going to update the lx's in their store so we don't have to.

yes, i believe T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) should give you an updated phone with version 4.6(thats the new OS version that includes video recording). but just to be sure ask a rep or sales rep at a t-mobile store and ask them if the LX that u are going to buy has the 4.6 version. but new LX's should have the new OS version in them. hope that helps. and good luck.
