Default Will the Sidekick Unlimited service work with non-sidekick phones?

I'd like to have the freedom of switching up phones occasionally--however, I have the new Sidekick w/the Sidekick Unlimited service! If I were to slip my sim card into different, non-sidekick phone, will it work? Can I possibly be charged text messaging/IM/internet fees?
