| Can I purchase a Verizon (NYSE: VZ) phone and use it on the cricket network? My understanding is that they are both CDMA and do not use SIM cards. Am I correct and is this possible? Thasnkyou for any assistance. I am looking at the Casio GZone or something like that and wonder if it can be used on cricket. Security1 |

| Yes the phones are compatible but you may have a few problems. 1. You may have some trouble getting it activated, Cricket customer service will often give you trouble activating a phone not purchased from them. If you get a rep that will not help just hang up and try later. Sooner or later you will get one that will help. 2. Voice will work but picture messaging and internet will probably NOT work. I'm not sure why but if you look on eBay almost every phone flashed to Cricket contains that warning. |
