Default Buyback Program

I got sick of trying to sell some of old phones from my business on Ebay and Craigslist since it was quite time consuming selling them individually. I finally decided to look for a local buyback program and I found one in Orange County called Full Circle Wireless.

Here's the site in case you're curious.
Full Circle Wireless

I'm still a bit sketical since I found a similar program called FlipSwap was just horrible on RipOffReport. Think it's a good idea?

It's sometime pretty dificult to actually sell a used phone so a buyback program can be your only option if you can't pass it on ebay..

That's probably the case, since almost everyone and their mother have certain old phones and don't intend on getting another one. Like the Razr's.

Amen to that. Besides, if you have a bunch of Razrs, then it'll be a pain to sell them individually, since you need to make a trip to the post office for each one when someone buys it on ebay. Whereas, you could just make one or no trip by selling them to a buyback program.

The sad thing is that they often low ball you. Buyback programs should really be your last resort. And since you're a seller, Ebay and Craigslist shouldn't be too much of a problem on your side. Though, you might need to spend quite a bit of time running around to the deal site and/or post office.

Screw Craigslist. All those scam stories about Craigslist have generally made me want to avoid that site like the plague.

I sent my good working ones to Full Circle Wireless since it was local.
Full Circle Wireless

Received $81 a few months ago for a bunch of 8700c's we stopped supporting and the IT staff went out bowling using it.

For devices that are damaged beyond repair I usually send to T-Mobile's recycling place, they provided free bags to recycle old equipment with all their upgrades. The used broker we used before also had a program but we felt that we wanted to do it directly with the manufacturer.

Amen to that, I can tell you that the service is horrible at FlipSwap. I know someone who actually got ripped off by Flipswap since they claimed that the phone has "water damage" even though it was clear that it had never even been anywhere close to body of water in its life time. To that end, they didn't give her the money they promised and they kept the phone.

Yeah, I would stick with Full Circle Wireless. if I were you.

Yeah, I found that they actually have a really low score on the Better Business Bureau's website.
