Default Can cellular services extend your contract when you only change your calling plan?

I changed my calling plan, no new phones or anything, and now the company tells me that extended my contract for two years. I did not sign anything when I changed my plan. Can they do this?

I would read your contract. Usually they have a copy of it online. They cannot make any contract changes without your permission.

Companies extend your contract one year if you change your plan. Some companies give you some flexibility at the first part of your contract to change your plan without a contract extension.

Each company has different rules.

I do not think they renew for 2 years.
