2) Pretty much my question is (if it is too vague), will I still get charged 10 cents if I *do not* open incoming text messages and just delete them instead?
3) If not, what can I do to block the text messages?

are you sure you get charged for incoming text messages? usually its outgoing that cost money .. anyway i honestly have no idea. go to T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) and ask them.

But to receive text messages is free....to send is a different story...to save money, just Google (NSDQ: GOOG) your friends' service provider with the words send a text message and there you go!
