Sony Ericsson Developer world was recently launched in India and invites creative and professional mobile content developers to develop content for the company. The winners would be awarded the DW India Awards. The people who wish to apply for the competition can register themselves at www.sonyericsson.com/developer/india.


The applicants who wish to win the DW India awards can register till 10 January 2009. There are three categories for the DW India award which are Gold, Silver and Bronze.Six lucky winners, who would be chosen on the basis of the content submitted by them, would be provided with special 100 day training. At the end of the training program they would become a Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) Certified developer. The other registered members also get the special advantage to be a part of Sony Ericsson discussion forum and can enjoy free technical support from the company.


The first ten applicants also stand a chance to win the Sony Ericsson W350i phones. There are 15 special recognition awards also for other applicants. The applicants are invited to submit mobile applications and mobile applications idea as well. The expert panel of judges at Sony Ericsson would judge the six DW India Awards winners on the basis of the best and the most innovative content submitted by the applicants.
