How do you block a phone number from calling your cellphone?

some phones like the Samsung SGH-D900i have a feature where you can add a number to a reject list and they just dont get thru. Unsure how many phones have that feature but im sure there a few.

Yes I understand what you mean *69 is to call the caller that just called you. Now to block I don't think it's possible with mobile phones. However, you can be slick and forward the calls else *73 to turn it on, and *72 to turn it off. You then forward to to whoever, police or funeral home to scare them off. The best of luck!

Hi, you did not mention which device you are using. anyway, if your device is s60 2nd edition you can use a software known as "Black list" and bar the number you want to. Or u can use original Alcatel handset for it's tremendous call barring option. Thank you

It's a violation of federal law for telemarketers to call cell phones. If someone is trying to sell you something, tell them that they have called a cell phone number, which is illegal and that you'll report them to the FTC.

You can ignore it, people will not keep calling if you dont answer it for a couple of times. What do you think?
