what is the best smartphone for att?

im going to get a new phone soon, i currently have the blackjack 2.
i want another smartphone, and im looking at the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) bold.
any suggestions? are there any upcoming blackberries or other phones i should just wait for?
