UNLOCK HTC Touch Pro 2 T7373 from T-Mobile?

Hi,

I just bought a HTC Touch Pro 2 T7373 from ebay its network locked to T-Mobile. I want to unlock this my self, does anyone know, how to do this without buying unlock codes from the net? Would changing the OS from 6.1 to 6.5 work?
