Default anyone w' a 8925 htc tilt? i need help!?

i need help with my new 8925 tilt. iva had this phone for about 3 months, and i just recently went to exchange it because one of my buttons wasnt working... well, the new cell phone that i got in place of the old one, has a different text messaging format.

the old one had single messages, the new one puts them into chats w'an individual person. (i know what your thinking, more convenient right?, yes it is, but its more cluttered, the time it was sent, the signature, from/to, etc.

does anyone know how to change the format for this phone on the text messages?

thanx before hand.
