I am saving for a new virgin mobile to get at Christmas should I get the LG

rumor 2 or the Kyocera (NYSE: KYO) XT-C? which one should I get? give me reasons and details please

rumor 2. the keyboard on that is way nicer, and it has a normal number pad. and video recording. the x-tc is ok i suppose. the keys are really small and its a little glitchy (ex: opening the slide it sometimes turns off)

From a feature perspective, everything the X-tc does, the Rumor does. Here are some advantages the Rumor 2 has:

• The Rumor 2 supports Google (NSDQ: GOOG) Maps and Navigation with voice enabled turn by turn directions, just like a GPS unit. The X-tc does not.
• From a usuability perspective, the QWERTY keyboard on the LG is more spaced out and has a separate row for numbers. Much more user friendly.
• The external numerical keypad on the LG makes dialing easier.

XTC advantages:

• Bigger Screen
• Right now, it is $30 cheaper.

One correction to Stephen's comments - Neither the X-tc or the Rumor 2 from Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) support video.
