Can u use ur music as a ringtone for LG Dare from Telus?

does anyone have an lg dare from telus. and does anyone know how to use a downloaded sound or song as a ringtone? I know Telus (NYSE: TU) blocked the opton to set as ringtone but is there another way around this?
