Should I get the Motorola Droid or keep my lg dare?

I know that there is not too much info out about the droid, but there is a couple of things im worried about. For example, can you with the droid, or any Motorola (NYSE: MOT) phones, save a sound from a picture message or something as a ringtone? and I would like to know about the battery life if anyone knows anything about it. I know my Dare has a great battery life (bout 5 days) and you can save sounds as ringtones.
