 Razr V3 - How do I turn off Yahoo E-mail and it's notification? AT&T says... ...Yahoo has to do it. HELP!!? I recently got a new Razr V3 phone from AT&T (Cingular). When I got it, I setup my Yahoo account so I could receive notifications for when I got a new e-mail. I did this by going to my main menu and then going to E-mail and IM. I decided to turn off my data package (Didn't want it anymore). To ensure I would not receive any unsolicited e-mail or text messages, I had AT&T place a block on my phone for both data and text messages. I went into 'E-mail and IM' and deleted the account I originally setup for Yahoo e-mail. The problem now begins ... I keep getting notifications that I have new Yahoo e-mail. First of all, I don't even know how I am getting the notification because I have a block. I spoke with AT&T and they said that we had to have Yahoo turn it off. What??! I cannot find anything online about turning off mobile Yahoo e-mail notifications. I did find this site: http://sites.mobile.yahoo.com/sms/canceldevice1 but we are still getting notifications. HELP!!  |
