Motorola Razor screen display question?

I am trying to figure out how to keep the screen when the phone is shut to stay lit up all the time. So I can use it for the quick, check to see what time it is without opening the phone up everytime.

I went under Settings > Display > Backlight, then they have the option for 20 Sec, 30 Sec, 50 Sec, and Always On. Problem is this is also the setting for the main display inside the interface of the phone.

So is there a way to seperate the two screens make the one with the phone shut on 24/7 like other phones with not burning the other constantly?

just hit the top left button on the side to light up the time on the front. it will save your battery.

Hmmm I don't know...that was what I was gonna tell you to do, but I'm not sure if you can change it without changing the inside. I hate my razr...ha they are such a pain!
