Default Motorola Razr fails to get detected in Win Vista Laptop. Help.?

I was using moto razr v3i for internet with PC having Win XP. However, the same phone is not getting detected by my Dell laptop (Inspiron ) having pre-installed win vista. Tried all possible installation and un-installation of phone tools. Plz help.
