Nokia n96,monthly contract or pay as you go?

- I was thinking of either paying £30 a month for 18 months and getting 300 mins/texts free OR buying the phone on 02 for £500..I really need opinions..my parents said if i payed monthly and got minutes i would be onit 24/7 and it would be a no but then again £500 is alot of money. What do you think??

£500 *is* a lot of money. £30 a month for 18 months is almost the same as you'll pay for a phone that costs like £130. It's a good deal, however you should discuss it with your parents. Though 300 minutes is 5 hours, not 720 hours (there are 720 hours in a month roughly), so you can tell your parents that to remind them that you won't be on it 24/7 :P

But yeah, my opinion is you should go with the contract. In fact, seeing the price of the contract for such an expensive phone being on par with much cheaper phones, I may even consider getting one myself
