| ...for free on O2 (NYSE: TEF) pay & go? I'm on an O2 pay & go (UK) sim that I've been using for years now and I'm not really interested in getting a contract. However I have saved up some cash and am thinking of getting an unlocked or O2 phone, smartphone (or XDA?) that has wifi capabilities for web browsing in wifi spots. Basically can I stick my O2 pay & go sim in one of these new (unlocked or O2) mobiles that has wifi, and use my new phone to browse the internet for free when I am in a wifi spot? Or is the wifi functionality of these phones restricted dependant on what your contract is with your phone provider? If its a case of some do let you do this, and some don't, can you advise me on which ones do? I don't care how good its music capabilities are, I already have good MP3 player that I will keep using. Sorry for the long question! But any help would be really good. Thanks |
