Tracfone and zip code?

i looked on the tracfone website and the phone i want dosnt show up when i put in my zip but when i put in a zip of the town next to mine it shows up so do i activate the tracfone with that zip or mine? it's a single rate phone so there are no roaming fees but if i activate it with the other zip will it work in my zip or?
