Can a Virgin Mobile X-TC be Flashed to Cricket Wireless?

I soon plan to change phones but not service providers, but i need some fast help before i make a critical mistake. I have heard plenty of people say they have had a Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) flashed to cricket but i have seen a few websites say maybe and no... I don't really have money to be taking that huge risk... So has anybody had any success in flashing a Virgin Mobile X-TC or does anybody have any information?
