Default Tracfone vs Go Phone?

I need a phone with we keyboard to text, I really like Tracfone, but their phones suck. I would like to have one with a keyboard for texting.

What are go phones like?

I had T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) to go and was thinking about switching to a gophone until i really thought out the cost of using it. i decided it would be cheaper just to get a monthly plan from Verizon (NYSE: VZ) and i saved a lot of money. you can also get prepaid monthly so you can't go over but you still get all the features you want in your plan. att has the pick your plan thing and $39.98 will get you 200 minutes and 1,000 texts or for another... $5 i think you can get unlimited texting.

A lot better than tracfones..

Go phones are just like real phones (modern phones i should say) with a pay as you go card that you can load time and money on to the phone and use it until you run out of money

If you plan on texting a lot I wouldn't get a go phone though, costs a lot of money,

I am a GoPhone user and have been for the past 2 years. I have the $29.99 a month plan that gives me 200 anytime minutes. GoPhone sux. Cingular aka The New ATT is horrible. They charge you for pointless stuff...I've been sent text messages before (alerts) through ATT and they freaking charged me 20 cents per message for something out of my control. They have unlimited texting for $19.99 a month in addition to your minutes plan. I called 611 (their automatic computer customer service) and signed up for it. This month's bill? Still don't have the service I signed up for last month, before the new month started. I should have it, but I don't. Don't waste your time on them.

Their reps are usually people in India who can barely speak the English language and are of no help. They know nothing about the phones, very little about the services and basically go looking through manuals when you have a question - which is what you can do for yourself, without them.
