Cesim A9530 from China

Hi guys.
First time here.
I have received 2 of these phones from China and am trying to first of all set up for MMS and internet with my Virgin sim. Virgin have emailed me some settings but I am having problems as to where to put them.
Second and very important, I would like to know if there is anyway to back up and transfer the ops system/software from one phone to the other. This is as I have to return one of them as it has a fault with the TV, but the system and display is hi-res but the one I am keeping is lowere res and looks like it could be down to different versions.
Is this the right place to ask these questions, or should I be on Carrier Discussion/China Mobile?
