I have had both Palm (NSDQ: PALM) OS and Windows Mobile OS. So far Windows Mobile has had many more programs, games, and is even able to run more tasks at once. I'd go with Windows Mobile, I'm currently using a Mogul which uses that OS. With any PDA you run the risk of an occasional OS freeze, but with Windows you have more compatibility with things out there such as Outlook, Internet Explorer, and many neat games.

Go Windows

I had a BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) 7100t before but free applications were hard to find.Buying them was more expensive than the phone itself.I don't know about Palm (NSDQ: PALM) OS or s60 OS.

My dream was to get the windows Mobile 5 Os and I have it now.The reason why I prefer the mobile is because plenty of free applications online and Mobile 5 work well with windows XP.You have tones of programmers working on new applications and a manifold of utilities who are very easy to install.

The graphic of Mobile 5 is just fantastic and is getting better with mobile 6.Hight definition screen on newer Pocket PC/phone will be even more superb in near future.

I bought an Axim x30 with mobile 2003 for starting. You will love them because far less expensive than the palm.If you want a PDA/phone I would go with the HP 6xxx series because very cheap and good resolution and memory.

If you buy a PDA or PDA/phone, make sure it come with SD/MicroSd slots and capable to get over 4gb or 8gb memory upgrade to install applications. This is important if you want to install map for GPS.

Well GPS is another interesting features rebuild in many new PDS,IT save you $50 to buy an external one on Ebay.I would definitely suggest you Windows mobile 5 machine.
