How will I know whether or not I am on the Internet on my Palm Treo(read for more)?

I bought a Palm (NSDQ: PALM) Treo and I am getting it tomorrow but I am not purchasing the plan that includes Internet access because I cannot afford it. I am worried that I will play a game, or click something like calendar that seems harmless but will actually count as being on the Internet and ATT will charge me for it. Is there like a list or anything that shows what apps on the phone cost extra money to use? Thanks
Also is the camera included like I can use it without being charged any extra?
