a lot of palm pre problems?

i have had 2 Palm (NSDQ: PALM) pre's because the first one broke.. i was using it and magicly the touch screen stopped working. this one i have now is just stupid, error messages always popping up, i have 3 apps and it says i can't download any more becaue i don't have enough memory, and the people i text the most, it doesnt show our conversations in the chat application. should i get a new one or is there another great phone from Sprint (NYSE: S) i should look into
