Palm Centro keeps trying to repeatedly HotSync.?

Palm Centro keeps trying to repeatedly HotSync. If I try to cancel, it cancels and then tries to hotsync again right away. If I hit cancel and then ''Home'' icon real quick, it does go to the Home screen but then it tries to HotSync right away again. I've tried to take out the battery but it goes straight to hotsync again please help!

First you should backup your data and try a hard reset (should be a hard reset pin on the back of the unit).

If that doesn't work, i've heard of this happening when the centro gets wet.
One user fixed it by taking out the battery and putting the unit near a space heater for a while.
